Now that you have made up your decision to have a hair transplant with us, please note the following steps to proceed-

You shall need a visa to enter India.

The port of entry for you will be Delhi or Chandigarh. Delhi being the national capital has maximum connectivity to the world. Chandigarh is connected with Dubai and Abu Dhabi (convenient for American, European and Middle East clients; and to Bangkok(convenient for clients from Australia, NZ and South eastern countries.
You will be received at Chandigarh airport by our driver hence please send me your flight details. If you are arriving in Delhi at night and before 3 AM, it will be better for you to take our Delhi airport service. We can send our driver at an additional cost of INR 3500 only. The journey is a 4 hour drive. The first flight from Delhi departs for Chandigarh at 6.30 AM (Jet Airways) and reaches in 40minutes. The last flight leaves at 7 PM for Delhi.
We will book on your behalf and if you wish to change the hotel on arrival.There is no obligation or cancellation fee if you do not like the hotel.
Please reach the Clinic for the precounseling one evening prior to the day of your procedure at 3 PM
The driver shall be available to you complimentary for airport pick up in Chandigarh and to and from from hotel to Clinic during your stay.
The procedure timing shall be given to you the evening before.
Procedures start early in the morning at 7 AM. Our driver will be there at the hotel reception to pick you up.
Breakfast will be serves in the clinic after the harvesting of grafts is over arund 10 AM and lunch at 2 PM. Do let us know ifyour attendant/relative needs to have lunch in the clinic. Lunch shall be complimentary.
In the evening the driver will drive you to your hotel.
The next day you return to the clinic for inspection of the donor and recipient areas and dressing change. Detailed instructions of care will be given to you. or are homeward bound.
Most people stay 2 nights after the procedure in Chandigarh after which they go sightseeing

*Payments by cheques/ checks are NOT accepted (traveler’scheques/checks are accepted except Canadian traveler’s checks). Onlinetransfers are accepted 2 weeks in advance only and the money should be in thebank before commencement of the procedure. International online transfers toIndian accounts sometimes take 3 weeks to get to our bank due to bankingprocesses in India while dealing with foreign funds. While using such modes ofpayment, please ensure the money is with our Bank before the procedure.
If you are going to use Visa/ Mastercard please make sure that you have instructed the Bank to authorise its use in a foreign country. Alsoplease double check the limit on the card.
*Please reach the Clinic for the precounseling one evening prior to the day of your procedure at 3 PM (on Saturday if your procedure is onMonday) for threefold reasons as under-
(a)Counseling with Dr Bhatti so you have an entire evening (2 evenings if your procedure is on Monday) to think over the doctor’s advice and can better makean informed decision.
(b) Medications need to be taken an evening before. (Tab Prednisolone 10 mg,Tab Alprazolam0.25 mg and TabRanitidine 300 mg). These will be handed over the evening prior. If reachinglate, please buy these from a local chemist showing this sheet as prescription.He may like to call 9814531111 to confirm.
(c) Blood tests and blood for PRP if you desire.
(d) Settlement of advance amount received and if paying by card to see if itworks while in India.
(e)Confirmation of identity- Indian laws require clinics to keep a copy of thefirst and last page of the passport and visa. Please carry your passport in originalthe day before the procedure.We areforbidden to entertain foreigners in the clinic without a valid visa which hasto be produced in original.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES
Due to the fact that hairtransplantation procedures are often booked two or three months in advance, wemust have at least three weeks’ notice if you wish to postpone yourappointment. If we are given short notice, it is often impossible to fill theappointment time. If this should happen, you will be charged INR 30,000/- tocover the time set aside for you. Cancellations will lead to your advanceamount being forfeited as informed earlier.
The balance of payment ofprocedure is made on the day of the surgical procedure. A receipt will be givento you.TAX AT EXISTING RATES SHALL BE EXTRA.
BEFORE THE PROCEDURE:
OVERSEAS PATIENTS SHALL NEED A VISA TO TRAVEL.
Indian consulates take upto 15 days to process so please keep this inmind while planning.
There is no “VISA ON ARRIVAL” for visitors to India FROM COUNTRIESOTHER THAN THOSE LISTED ABOVE. We have had a couple of patients reaching Delhiairport but not having been allowed entry since they thought they would get avisa on arrival since the stay for a hair transplant is short.
For foreign patientsDelhi/Chandigarh are the nearest ports of entry.
Chandigarh hasconnections to Dubai/Abu Dhabi alone and in September connections to Singaporeshall commence
- DO NOT scratch your head till 2 weeks before the procedure
DO NOT exercise heavily onthe day of procedure.
DO NOT have your hair cutbefore the procedure.
DO NOT scratch your head aweek before since it causes infection.
DO NOT take ASPRIN orIBUPROFEN products 7 days before, and 24 hours after the procedure.
DO NOT drink ALCOHOL for 24 hours before and 3 days after the procedure.
DO NOT take DRUGS/MARIJUANA for 48 hours before and after the procedure.
DO NOT take VITAMINSA,C and/or E (or any other MULTI-VITAMINS) or excess of HERBS (especiallyginko, Asian ginseng, etc.) for 10 days before the procedure).
STOP using MINOXIDIL(Rogaine) 7 days before the procedure.
DO arrange to have someonedrive you to the office and pick you up or take a taxi, as pre-medication isoften given prior to the procedure. You can also use our company car. Pleaseask for this service in advance. It is complimentary.
DO call the office toarrange hotel accommodation for the night of the procedure if you live out ofthe city. For the recovery period we have a villa available at nominal costs inKasauli which is a nearby hill station. Many patients have stayed here earlierfor 2-30 days. Let us know if you are interested. INR 2000 for the first night/1500 for subsequent night per room with Indian breakfast included. Drop andreturn pick up(one way distance 75 Kms)is included.
DO bring along a necktravel pillow of your size if your crown is going to be worked upon.
DO wash your hair wellnight before or the morning of the procedure.
DO shave your beard onlyone day before the procedure if we are harvesting beard grafts during theprocedure. Do not shave on the same morning. It is essential to shave theprevious day.
DO NOT have breakfastbefore the procedure. Only drink a glass of milk with sugar at 6 AM. We sallgive you breakfast at 10 AM and lunch at 2 PM in the clinic during the shortbreaks. Do let us know if your attendant/relatives need to have lunch in theclinic. We will not charge them.
Your head hair must be at least one inch (1”) long prior to yourprocedure. This is required to assess the play of light and shadow to make abetter plan for where to plant in higher density. Also a photographic record isrequired for future reference.

Indian laws require you to produce a copy of your visa whenseeking treatment.
If you are traveling from abroad your port of entry is Delhior Chandigarh. Chandigarh is connected to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
It is best to take a 40 mins flight to Chandigarh. Flightsdepart for Chandigarh from 6.30 AM to 5.30 PM only.
In case you reach around midnight, the best course will be toavail of our pick up service- our driver will come from Chandigarh to receiveyou at the airport. He shall be carrying your name on a sheet of paper and willawait you at the Exit point of the Arrivals lounge. In case of a problem inlocating him, please call the office 9814531111 (24×7).
If you reach Chandigarh airport, we shall send the driverthere too.
ON THE DAY OF THE PROCEDURE
Pleaseask for our shuttle service which iscomplimentary.
DO wear a front open,button down shirt to avoid pulling anything getting in contact with the top ofthe head (a very loose collar is okay).
DO NOT wear any cologne orperfume. Ladies please remove nail polish before the procedure.
DO preferably bring alongslip on shoes (without laces) since bending immediately after the procedure maycause some grafts to dislodge.
PLEASE NOTIFY THE CLINIC REGARDINGANY MEDICATIONS YOU MAY BE CURRENTLY TAKING.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE FOREGOING INSTRUCTIONSMAY RESULT IN INCREASED BLEEDING. AS A RESULT, THE PROCEDURE MAY TAKE MUCHLONGER TO PERFORM AND YOU MAY EXPERIENCE SWELLING OF THE FOREHEAD FOLLOWING THEPROCEDURE.
AFTER THE PROCEDURE
A light headband-style wrap maybe used. The following day, you must return to the clinic to have your wrapremoved and/or your hair shampooed. You will receive post- operativeinstructions after the procedure. Please see-
